Title: Black Women and The History of Creating Their Own Spaces in America and Beyond
Dr Tatjana Vukelić is a professor of English language and literature and Russian language and literature at the University of Rijeka, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Rijeka, The Republic of Croatia. She holds a Ph.D. from the University of Rijeka and her doctoral thesis titled Race, Gender, and Sex Discrimination of Black Women in the Literary Works of African American Women Writers covers the fieldwork in the range of African American culture, tradition, and literature. She is the author of a recently published book titled The Scars of Black America and several articles, both in English and Russian, published in Croatia and abroad.
Ass. Prof. Dr. Trayee Sinha
Dr. Trayee Sinha teaches at Diamond Harbour Women’s University as Assistant Professor in the Dept. of Women’s Studies. She has completed her Ph. D from Women’s Studies Research Centre, University of Calcutta, India. Her research interest includes Postcolonial Literature and Gender Studies, Women’s Writing in Colonial Bengal. Her recent published book is Engendering the Nation and the Self- Reading Shashi Deshpande’s Selected Novels: A Postcolonial Feminist Intervention (2022) from Authors Press Publishers.

Prof-associate Salma Kaouthar Letaief, works at the Department of English language and literature at Blida 2 University, Algeria. Dr. Letaief obtained her PhD from the University of Jordan, Jordan; in 2022. The scope of research is on Arab writers in diaspora, trauma studies, and contemporary fiction.

Mr. Atakouma Hamdane KIDE-MOKAFO
Hamdane KIDE-MOKAFO is a micro entrepreneur, the owner of a language firm in Lome the capital city of my country. He holds an Associate degree in Banking and finance since 2014. His intellectual curiosity and my passion of languages made me further my Education in English where I specialized in Linguistics. In 2017, He started my start up Omoye house Linguistics. Omoye means ‘‘those who are not afraid of the wind’’. At OHL Academy, we offer training, translation and interpretation services. The main languages are English, French, German, Spanish and Chinese. He also worked on translation projects with well-known NGOs such as GIZ TOGO or CEJUS with is the first legal clinic in West Africa.

Dilyara Begalykyzy is an MPA candidate at the University of Washington’s Evans School of Public Policy and Governance and holds a BA from Nazarbayev University. As Chairperson of Jastar Alauy, she leads youth civic engagement initiatives in Kazakhstan. She is also a Dean’s Council member at the Evans School. Her interests include public administration, policy analysis, and international development.

Nina Ives is a doctoral student at Auckland University of Technology, New Zealand. She has research interests in equitable effort-sharing approaches for addressing climate change at the international level, as well as New Zealand’s domestic climate-related policies and legislation. Her research spans the domains of climate science, policy, and ethics.

Dr. Alma Karasaliu
Dr. Alma Karasaliu is a full-time lecturer at Fan S. Noli University in Korça, Albania. She is a member of the Faculty of Education and Philology, specializing in Translation and ESP. She holds a doctorate from Tirana University. Her research interests include audio-translation, comparative translation, ESP, and Stylistics.
Mr. Shum Hou Zit
Shum Hou Zit is a student from the University of Hong Kong, majoring in History, German and minoring in Politics and Public Administration. He has also studied at the Heidelberg University and the University of Edinburgh. His areas of interest include ancient and modern history. He plans on furthering his studies in history in future.

Dr Paulina E. Wilson
Dr Paulina E. Wilson is a Lecturer in Law and Deputy Director of Education at the School of Law, Queen’s University Belfast; Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and Member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists. She holds a Master of Arts degree in English Language and Literature, a Master of Legal Science degree and a PhD in Comparative Law/Legal Translation. Her interdisciplinary research focusses on conceptual micro-comparisons in the areas of tort and criminal law, and the impact of interjurisdictional law variation on global law practice, including judicial cooperation, foreign law as evidence, and both professional and legal-lay communication. Her recent article entitled ‘Comparative law outside the ivory tower: an interdisciplinary perspective’ was shortlisted for the Society of Legal Scholars’ best paper prize. She is also involved in the work of the Judicial College in Northern Ireland, UK.
Ms. Michelle Chen
Michelle Chen was born in Singapore and lives in New York City. Her writing has been recognized by the City College of New York, Brooklyn Public Library, and Penguin Random House, and appears in Prairie Schooner, YoungArts Exhibition, The Evergreen Review, and elsewhere. She has attended the Juniper Institute for Young Writers, Girls in Icy Fjords, and the Iowa Young Writers’ Studio with the support of the National Society of Arts and Letters. She is an English Masters in Teaching student at Stony Brook University, and recently received the AAPI Mentorship Network Travel Grant, PhD Works Award, and the Distinguished Travel Award.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nejla PEKA is currently the head of the Department of Public Law at the Faculty of Law, “Luarasi” University, Tirana. In 2022, she was elected for a 4-year term as Commissioner for the Protection and Promotion of Children’s Rights in the institution of the People’s Advocate.She completed her higher studies at the Faculty of Law, University of Tirana, and her postgraduate studies at the “Master’s in European Studies” level, at the International Center for European Studies, University of Tirana. further, she defended the scientific degree “Doctor of Legal Sciences” in Public Law, Faculty of Law, University of Tirana Also, she won the scientific title “Associate Professor” in the field of law.
In 2007, she was invited by the International Studies Center at “Georgia Southern University”, Georgia, USA, to hold open lectures about governance, the political system and the rule of law in Albania, at this university.
Since 1997 until 2018, she was a civil servant in the middle management category in the Prime Minister’s Building, specifically a lawyer in the Legislation and Regulatory Acts Unit in the Council of Ministers, Regulatory and Compliance Department in the Prime Minister’s Office. Currently, she is “Adviser” in the Parliamentary Committees Service in the Parliament of Albania since 27 of June 2023.
She has been active as an external lecturer in the Department of Public Law at the Faculty of Law, University of Tirana, in the subject of “Financial Law and the Science of Finance”, “History of Institutions” and, at the scientific master’s level, in the subject of ” Rule of law and governance”. Also, she was an external lecturer in the professional master’s degree “Administration of institutions in the justice system”, in the subject “Human rights in the criminal process”, at the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Tirana, in the scientific master’s degree “Economics and rights”, in the course “European Integration”, of the Faculty of Economics, “Aleksandër Xhuvani” University, Elbasan, as well as in several private universities. From 2010 to 2014, Mrs. Peka was a trainer of the “Administrative Procedures” module and continues to be a trainer of the “Legislative drafting” module at the Higher School of Public Administration (ASPA), for the training of civil servants in the probationary period as well as those who undergo continuous training.
She has published a number of scientific articles. She is the author of the book “Summary of tax and customs legislation in the Republic of Albania”.
Prof. Dr. Manana Rusieshvili
Dr. Manana Rusieshvili is a professor and Head of the Department of English Philology at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU). She is also President of ETAG (English Language Teachers’ Association of Georgia). Manana has published more than 110 works locally and internationally and delivered papers at international conferences worldwide. Manana Rusieshvili-Cartledge’s research interests include Sociolinguistics, Pragmatics, Critical Discourse Analysis, Theory of Metaphor and Applied Linguistics. Prof. Hamutal Bar-Yosef
Professor Hamutal Bar-Yosef is a professor emerita (since September 2003) of modern Hebrew literature at Ben-Gurion University, Beer-Sheva (since 1987). She lectured at universities in Paris, New York, Philadephia, Moscow, Kiiv, Novo-Sibirsk, Poznan. Her main field of research is the East-European context of modern Jewish culture. She is a poet (15 collections), a writer (2 collections of stories, 1 historical novel, children’s book) and a translator from Russian, French, English and Yiddish.

Dr. Abubakar Oladeji is an Associate Research Professor, and Acting Head, Political and Governance Policy Department at NISER, Nigeria. He obtained all his degrees (B.Sc. (First Class Honours); M.Sc.; and PhD) in Political Science. Dr Oladeji’s areas of research interests include institutions, political economy, governance, and development.
Dr. Entela Nikaj
Dr. Entela Nikaj has a scientific research experience of 10 years. As of 8 years, Dr. Nikaj is Advisor in the National Assembly of Albania (Committee of Legal Affairs, Human Rights and Public Administration, as well as the Subcommittee for Approximation of Legislation). She has served as an Expert in the Technical Secretariat on “the Justice Reform” conducted by the Special Commission in the National Assembly of Albania (in the Group for Higher Legal Education). Currently position is Lecturer/Researcher at the Department of Public Law in the “Faculty of Law”, “University of Tirana”; lecturer on “Philosophy of Law”, “Acquis Communitaire”, “European Civil Procedural Law” at “the Mediterranean University of Albania” and also a Lecturer on “European Law” at the “University of Vlora”. Dr. Pjereta Agalli
Mrs. Pjereta Agalliu has completed her studies at the Faculty of Law, University of Tirana (UT). During 2009-2011 Mrs. Agalliu completed her Second Level Master (MND) studies at the Criminal Department at the Faculty of Law and in 2018 she received the scientific proffesional doctoral degree on “Jurisprudence of the European Court of Human Rights and its impact on the Albanian Criminal Justice System” at Faculty of Law, UT.
During a period of time, Mrs. Agalliu was an external expert in the project “With the voice of juveniles deprived of liberty” in cooperation with the Ombudsman, the Ministry of Justice and the Observatory. She has also participated in many National and International Conferences. She is the author of many scientific papers and articles, published in national and international scientific journals.
Dr. Blerina Gjerazi
Dr. Blerina Gjerazi, a lecturer at the University of Aleksandër Moisiu, Durrës, Albania, boasts extensive experience in public relations and communications. Her research spans public relations, journalism, and human rights. She authored “Public Relations: Roles and Responsibilities” (2020) and “Mediatization of the European Union Process” (2022), complementing her doctoral thesis on “Public Relations in the Justice System.”

I am also permanently employed at Midlands State University in the Department of Agricultural Economics and Development as a Senior Lecturer. Fatma Betul Yilmaz, was graduated from psychology department of Istanbul Bilgi University, then she completed her Clinical Psychology master’s degree from Hasan Kalyoncu University. She is a PhD student in Psychology and work as a research assistant. Her main research area is positive psychology.

Mrs. Reem Al-kuwari
Mrs. Reem Al-kuwari is a PhD student at the University of Edinburgh majoring in sociology and a sociologist teaching assistant at Qatar University. She got two master’s degrees, the first from Doha institution for graduate studies in sociology and anthropology, and a second in social and political science from the University of Edinburgh. She is a highly motivated researcher interested in examining women’s equality and gender topics in Arab countries.

Sinem TAS is recently a researcher at CIEBA Research Center and PhD student at the Fine Arts Faculty of Lisbon University with PhD scholarship. She completed her master’s degree in MultiMedia Art / Photography at the Fine Arts Faculty of Lisbon University with scholarship (2016). In 2017 she directed her first documentary film “My Kaaba is HUMAN”. Title: Covid-19, mass media and communication of science: the case of conflicts between scientists in Italy
Dr. Luca Serafini is a postdoctoral researcher at University of Naples Federico II and an adjunct professor at Lumsa University of Rome, where he teaches Sociology of New Media and Journalism. He was also a visiting researcher at Goldsmiths University of London. His research focuses on changes in the languages and practices of information in digital media. He is the author of two books and articles published in international journals such as Theory, Culture & Society, Journal of The British Society for Phenomenology, H-Ermes. Journal of Communication. Most recently, he edited and translated the Italian edition of Sinan Aral’s book The Hype Machine: How social media Disrupts Our Elections, Our Economy, and Our Health – and How We Must Adapt (Edizioni Guerini, 2021).
Prof. Abdulaziz Albrithen
Professor Abdulaziz Albrithen is from Saudi Arabia. He received his PhD in social work from the University of Liverpool in United Kingdom in 2007. He joins the United Arab Emirates University in August 2017, and serves as a coordinator of the MSW program in August 2018. He worked as an assistant professor at Umm Al-Qura University and then as an associate professor and professor at King Saud University, Saudi Arabia. He took part in writing some English books by contributing some chapters. He also published articles on social work, both Arabic and English. In 2014, he received an International Prize for his remarkable work of translating ‘The Encyclopedia of Autism Spectrum Disorders’ into the Arabic language. Dr. Albrithen’ s research interests include; social work ethics, and social work & human rights.
