Conference History – First Round
On the 15th-17th of March 2019, the buzzing city of Berlin, Germany hosted the International Conference on Modern Approaches in Humanities and Social Sciences (ICMHS). The conference welcomed 130+ participants from all over the world – Sri Lanka, Kenya, Germany, Austria, Argentina, Canada, the United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, and numerous others. It was a spectacular get-together of leading minds in academia – scholars, researchers, scientists, and representatives of NGOs, research and government institutions.
The three days of the event featured discussions on common challenges and upcoming trends. Here are a few examples of the topics discussed: reaction of armed forces to protests in revolutions, anatomy of a (non-)art film, prediction of halal cosmetics purchasing, and others. It was truly inspiring to be a part of this vibrant community, exchanging ideas and sharing experiences.
As is tradition, the event also featured active social elements in addition to the learning opportunities. The attendees were invited to join a free tour of Berlin, discovering its hidden gems and indulging in local cuisine.
If you are planning your 2023 calendar, then don’t wait much longer and grab your pass to the 6th edition of ICMHS. We look forward to meeting you!
